HMI (Human-Machine Interface) pages are the core of V-Portal’s user interface, allowing you to create custom layouts for controlling and monitoring robotic systems.
What are HMI Pages?
HMI pages are customizable dashboards that:
- Display real-time data from robots and sensors
- Provide controls for robot operations
- Organize information in a logical layout
- Support responsive design
Creating a Page
- Navigate to the Pages section
- Click “Create New Page”
- Enter page details:
- Name
- Description
- Access permissions
- Click “Create”
Page Editor
The page editor provides:
Grid Layout System
- Drag and drop widgets onto the grid
- Resize widgets by dragging corners
- Snap to grid for alignment
- Responsive breakpoints
Widget Library
Access all available widgets:
- Data display widgets
- Control widgets
- Charts and graphs
- Custom module widgets
Page Settings
Configure:
- Visibility level
- Name
- Layout settings
Page Management
Sharing Pages
- Set view/edit permissions
- Share with specific users or roles
- Export page configurations
Best Practices
